Privacy Policy

Effective date: 19 June 2026 · Last updated: 23 June 2026

Template notice: This policy is drafted from how the Repzo app actually handles data, but it is not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction before you publish or submit to an app store. Fill in the highlighted placeholders.

This Privacy Policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Repzo,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Repzo mobile application and the repzo.io website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address (used for sign-in and authentication), a username you choose, and optional profile details such as a display name and your selected app theme.

Workout data

We process and store workout-related data you generate in the app — for example exercise type, rep counts, depth and form metrics, session summaries, and the pose-estimation results derived from your camera feed.

Social data

Repzo includes optional social features. If you use them, we store your friend connections, the workout activity you choose to share to your buddy feed, and any workout cards you publish. Content you share is visible to the people you share it with.

Device & technical data

We may collect basic technical information needed to operate the app reliably, such as device type, operating-system version, app version, and crash diagnostics.

Analytics & subscriptions. We use PostHog (product analytics, processed in the United States) to understand how features are used so we can improve the app, and RevenueCat to manage Repzo Plus subscriptions. With these providers we share a stable user identifier (your account id) and event metadata — such as which screens and features you use and your subscription status. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your personal information.

2. Camera, photos & microphone

Pose analysis runs on your device. When you record a set, the camera feed is processed locally on your phone to estimate your body pose. The raw video is not uploaded to our servers as part of analysis.

You can revoke camera, photo, and microphone permissions at any time in your device settings.

3. How we use information

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

5. Service providers

We use Supabase to host our backend (authentication, database, and storage for the account, profile, social, and workout data described above). We use PostHog for product analytics and RevenueCat to process Repzo Plus subscriptions and entitlements. Service providers are permitted to use your data only to provide services to us. Hosting and processing may occur in regions outside your country; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

6. Data retention

We keep account, profile, social, and workout data for as long as your account is active. Locally captured session photos are removed automatically as described in Section 2. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.

7. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at support@repzo.io. You may also manage permissions and delete shared content directly in the app.

8. Deleting your account

You can request deletion of your account and associated data from within the app or by emailing support@repzo.io. This permanently removes your profile, social connections, and stored workout data.

9. Children

Repzo is not directed to children under [13 / 16 — set per jurisdiction]. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport and access controls on our backend. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice in the app or by email.
